Could you please recommend a speaker or buzzer I could buy to connect to Maximite for sound?

I know people used difference ones ripped out from laptops, headphones etc. Does anybody know something I could buy? a part number, for example.

Thanks

Any standard Amplified PC speaker should work, however many these days are USB powered so you will need to either use a USB port or one of those cheap USB `wall warts' to power them..

They should cost around the $15 mark a set (240V jobbies) or $10 (USB powered Jobbies)

Sorry, I put the question wrong way. I'm up a micro speaker with I can mount inside the Maximite case and connect to the audio output directly.

I hoped that somebody has already found a good high enough input impedance speaker or buzzer which can be connected directly, without a transistor or something, and also providing a good enough quality sound.

Alexander,

Try audio transducer AB3440 from Jaycar.

There are some pictures of mine fitted in this thread

http://www.thebackshed.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=4552&KW =AB3440&PN=0&TPN=1

There is also some info in regards connecting it further in that thread.

Cheers,
Anthony.
