A new version of MMBasic (ver 4.1) is available for download from http://geoffg.net/maximite.html This version fixes the colour shift issue with V4.0B and a few other bugs and includes a number of minor improvements. New is the PORT command and function which has been requested a number of times. Used as a command this will simultaneously set the outputs of up to 23 I/O pins in one operation. That's certainly fixed the coloured fringe for me (CGCOLORMAX) - thanks again Geoff, how you keep this up is beyond me! Making the quotes optional for direct commands will improve my poor typing skills no end, I was forever going back to put them in - or maybe it wasn't my typing skills.

Just one very small thing with the Language Manual. When describing the PORT command eight pins is 4 to 11 not 4 to 12. "It is better to be ignorant and ask a stupid question than to be plain Stupid and not ask at all" |

This may be a dumb question and probably in the documentation somewhere that I overlooked but I'll ask anyway. Can the latest MMBASIC 4.1 be run on any Maximite such as the CGMMSTICK1 or is there a cutoff point for support of the original style Maximite? www.elproducts.com |

The newest software will still run on the 'Stick' - just download the right file for it. 4.1 runs on the CGCOLORMAX1 and CGMMSTICK1. (different files) Micromites and Maximites! - Beginning Maximite |

When editing a file (as opposed to the program in memory) with EDIT I can pgdn past the EOF which then causes the editor to loose control of the cursor position. Anyone else? Anthony. |
