Hi

I have a belkin USB battery pack

It puts out 5 volts 2000 mah

Looking for suggestions on battery packs longer life

Sealed lead acid ?

Radio control battery ? 7.2 volts

Can make up a regulator

Size not such an issue but car battery too big :-)

lithium polymer very small with high current density.
Can be got in a wide range of voltage and current densitys.
Just Google lipoly.

Your local model shop will have LiPo's and chargers to go with them.
