I need to locate 2 of these types of 4 pin connectors for a project but I don't know what they are formally called.

Can anyone tell me? They're similar to the connectors found on 3.5" floppy drives for power but smaller.

I went to Jaycar and they didn't have any nor could the guy behind the counter tell me what they're called.

They're not uncommon, coming in different sizes.

I need to 2 pin types.

Nick, a photo with a ruler would be a good thing or just tell us the measurements. That one looks huge.

Nick, could this be similar to the Oupiin connectors sold by Altronics?

No Bob. They're about the same size but this is whatJaycaralso sell.

Pin spacing appears about 2mm apart.

Width of plug is 11mm

depth is 7mm

It looks like a JST connector, I've got them on LiPo batteries as balance connectors here's an example. , again using a ruler in your images would help to show the scale.
