I am inspired

I have played with

DunioMite
MaxiMite
MegaMite
mini Maximite

What is the smallest footprint ?

I like MMBasic as it take the pain out of the PIC32 in Assembly.

I learnt assembly from a friend

It made me understand what the PIC is doing inside

And thats important later on

When you understand what bits get set and why

Each to his own and each has its place.

I use both depending on the size of the project. When it comes to programming an 8 bit PIC (e.g F88) I generally use assembly. I grew up with it in the MPU days. I found that it teaches the brain to think a little more abstractly than using a higher level language, and these days, the brain needs all the excercise it can get.

Perhaps using assembly is a bit like building a project using "real" components. It all depends on what gives one the biggest kick.

Who really cares
They are ALL SMALL!

The Duinomite-mini has the best overall design
Compact size; I/O connectors; mounting holes, Cost.

Dimitech module is a great idea for embedded solutions but can't stand-alone.
