Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hello all,

I just upgraded to MMBasic 4.4B1.
I don't know if it's a result of the upgrade, but the MM (original mono) no longer shows up as a serial port in Device manager.

It works fine when plugged into a monitor.

Any one know what could cause this behaviour? It did work before.

Regards,

Further details...

I usually plug the MM into the PC via a USB hub. If I plug it in directly to a USB port on the computer, it works fine, but not on the hub.

Comments?

Bob,
That sounds similar to a problem I had earlier in the year. Try clearing unused com port allocations by the method TZ found. It's in thread Tbs link
