If you mean who developed the Maximite, the answer to all the above is "Geoff"

I suggest that you read the details on his web site:

There has been input from others and they are acknowledged in Geoff's articles.

The copyright command may give you some of what you want. As well as the usual copyright stuff it acknowledges some of the people who have made contributions.

Leaving the cult to Geoff aside, I would mention that I am doing a bit of work on this as well. You can download my current revision of the MMBasic from HERE
Unfortunately not everyone gets lucky to be mentioned in the Geoff's articles...

You do realise that all versions of MMBASIC after 2.7 are NOT OPEN SOURCE
Geoff's source , geoff's rules
He has made it widely known
plain and simple

I like the idea of your modules but I am curious as to why you need a special version of MMBasic rather than feed suggestions/ideas back thru Geoff?

I have a Duinomite from Olimex and again, while a great idea and feature advancement on the original MM, it's non standard features made it a PITA ( pain in the #$%).

It would be great to develop/debug on a full feature MM ( eg. CMM ) then transfer to your DTX for final use, however, if there are differences in the 2 Basics? Frustration.

Doug,
The module is FULLY compatible with the original MMBasic. That means you it can run it directly from the Geoff's archive (I have even posted a Youtube video with it) and vice versa - my version will work on the standard Maximite.
The additions I have made are only on top of the original MMBasic plus the hardware support of the RTC chip which is missing in the Maximite and is different in the CMM. Some ideas that I suggested to Geoff in private correspondence I see he has already adopted in the standard version, others remain in mine only (like the unlimited number of files DIR and the new INIT command, as well as other little things).
But apart from the RTC, the whole hardware is 100% compatible with the Maximite, unlike the Duinomite.
