I will be giving away some DTX2-4105C modules. This is part of my "warm-up" campaign and there is really no catch here. The only thing I ask in return, is if you ever make something with it, please make it known to other people.
If somebody wants one, send me a message.
You are welcome

Guys, thank you all for the interest. But please, send me PMs with your address. I don't know where to send the modules to you without them.

Thanks,
Kon

Hi Kon,

I would like to use one as a front end to my Caravan Battery Monitor system and would be happy to post details on completion.

Details sent by PM.

Thanks to everyone who wrote me. I have received enough PM requests for the allocated number of modules now. That was quick!

For schematics and other stuff, please check http://dimitech.com/?page_id=43

There is the current Altium library with schematic components and footprints for these.

All the modules that I have sent are with MMBasic V4.3A/R3 preinstalled on them.

If someone needs a development board for these modules, it is here: http://dimitech.com/?page_id=44

Curious: why are there three sockets on this board: DEB2-4105C ?

Because the plans include many more different modules to come and they all will be compatible and following a consistent pattern in the connections.
For reference - see DTX2-2820C or DTX2-5055C.
Additionally (not supported yet) some future patches in the firmware would allow multiprocessor systems.

Thank you very much Kon,

My early Birthday Present arrived today... Now just waiting for the daughter board and I need to locate a socket (or 3) for the chip?

I am not used to getting things given to me (except from Don but he is silly and that doesn't count)

Is it programmed with anything yet?

I mean is it a bare chip (factory clean) or just a bootloader or loaded with MMBasic?

Regards,

Mick

Mick, all the modules are pre-programmed with MMBasic V4.3A/R3 so you don't need to flash it right now at least until a new update is out.
What is "R3" you can find out here: http://www.dimitech.com/downloads/dtx2-4105c_mmbasic.zip
Enjoy!

Kon

PS. my website is undergoing some maintenance and may be acting funny for a couple of hours...

Am I correct that this device and the loaded basic is similar to the original black and white MaxiMite.

Kon,

I am interested in your module but was wondering when you will be supporting mmbasic 4.4? The ability to load and unload modules has me looking at mmbasic for project development again.
