I have finally published a document, specifying the general pinout of all DTX 2nd generation modules. Have a read here and I would be happy to read any comments/criticism/suggestions :)

In case anyone wants to make a PLCC68 module (TZA?) and that module is going to work in a multi-branded environment, conforming to this document will ensure module's full compatibility with the DTX2 family, current and future.

No one wants to comment on my document? That's sad...

Been busy drawing......
The document is fine from a technical stand point.
What it needs is an explanation of the 'why' and 'how' with specific examples.
Otherwise it is just some piece of electronics, which of course it absolutely is not!
I realize that i am in the same boat with my Blox.
The idea is very clear in my mind, not easy to fully explain the concept.
I think we actually have come to the same conclusion that there is enough development and starterkits available and nothing for actually making a final product.
It is all about experimenting and learning and then.... nothing.

Are you doing this all by yourself? I am with my 'Blox'.
Maybe we should stick our heads together and mix our ideas.
If you feel the same, send me a PM.

Hello Kon,
your module has arrived some days ago, thank for this document, it's essential, i will build a small geiger counter with it, i'm waiting for tube + HV converter to arrive, meanwhile, because i will not use the video output capabilities of the module, i would ask to you if should i leave unconnected the HSYNC, VSYNC, VIDEO pins? or they should be connected to ground?

components used for the project:

SBM-20 Tube (circuit & program should be able to mount & use the smallest SBM-21 tube)
Compact 3volt to 400volt high voltage converter module
Nokia 5110 84x48 pixel display
some contour components, bits&nuts
and, of course, your module!

thank you in advance
Juri

Thanks for the update Juri,
all the unused pins should be left unconnected.
Good luck with your project,
Kon
