Does anyone have any idea on how many Maximites are being used/been sold in the UK and also in the USA? I'm writing an article that uses a mono maximite; and, I want to get an idea if I should submit it to the UK or USA. Many thanks, Nic. |

Vasi had a good point about the forum membership, although there are likely to be a fair few 'lurkers' who have never registered a userid. Can Gizmo tell us how many registered users use the Microcontroller and PC Projects forum, and how many come from Australia, the US and UK? There are regular posters from Canada and the balance of Europe but I don't know how important they are to Nic. Even better would be counts by IP address so the unregistered users could be included, but that could be a real pain to work out. Nic, why not PM Gizmo? Yes, that sounds realistic - perhaps more. Given the choice between a Raspberry Pi and a MM, I would choose the MM every time. While it is true that the RP has some neat features, it is difficult to program the bloody thing - at least at the moment, until a more friendly language comes out for it. I think it's native programming language is Python. MM and RP both cost about the same amount(based on CG's prices for the CMM2 vs RP), but I still like the MM for it's simplicity. Actually, that last statement should be amended to "...for it's advanced feature set." MMBASIC has seen some pretty impressive additions since the days of the B/W one. Smoke makes things work. The RPi doesn't really have a native language but I suppose it would be C if you choose to boot Linux and some other language if you boot something else. I guess UCSD's would be Pascal lol John |

Here's a stats page for the whole www.backshed.com site for the last month. 
A Visit is when someone visits the site, and the Pages/Visit value is the number of pages they opened before leaving. Avg Visit Duration is how long they were visiting the site for. %New Visits are people that have never visited before, and Bounce are people that left without opening any other pages in the site. I could look at adding a stats page to the forum software, but a little busy at the moment, see how I go over the next week.
