Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hi all,
My name is Lorenzo and I live in France,so please, excuse me for my English and do not hesitate to correct me if necessary.
I registered here to share my little experience and ask some questions that are sure to come in my mind.
It's already a while I check this forum, I find it very interesting.
I just ordered a CGCOLORMAX2 card I hope to receive soon to confront my two DUINOMITE cards MEGA and E-MEGA that I decided to stop using her but i'm curious for the results.

Hello Lorenzo,
Welcome to the forum.
Its almost seems a little rude of the forum that after 24 hours, and no one has said hello.
Your Frenglish (French, English) is good so no problems there.
Sometimes it just works

Hey Lorenzo, Downwind has shamed me!
Welcome. I'm not very helpful around here. I'm usually the one asking questions! But there are plenty of helpful members here who share their knowledge freely.

Thank you all for this welcome,
I just received my CGCOLORMAX2 card, and I thank CIRCUITGIZMOS for fast delivery.
I started soldering connectors and tests look good, in fact I was expecting a huge difference in speed compared to my DUINO MEGA card and there is indeed a difference in favor of DUINO but this is not huge and no penalizing the use.
Bench results by the benchmark programm in MMBasic Library :
Small annoyances that I describe on my blog disappeared and I do not regret my migration of DUINO MEGA to the CGCOLORMAX2, and the color is a more significant bonus than I thought
For now, things I regret are : The reset Button and the composite video connector.
But this is only the beginning.

If you need composite video in colour then someone worked out that it is easiest to use an external converter. They are apparently very cheap on eBay.
