Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

When you run a Duinomite via 'terminal' (usb to PC)
The graphic output does not show up on the screen ......
Vs when the keyboard (and monitor) are directly hooked ....

Err.. - yes Michael - page 9 of the manual - Graphics
Graphics commands operate on the video output only (not USB). You're not the first to miss it though so don't beat yourself up! Geoff doesn't mention that under "Keyboard/Display" on the Functional Summary (p3) but it probably rates a mention there.

I'm currently running a DM mega and testing out my DS18B20 temp sensors for a couple of projects I have got in the line and I found tera term to work fine while I had a monitor going. I do find writing code on the pc then just send the files via xmodem does the job nicely so I get the file to be transferred all ready then type the command using the ps2 keyboard on the DM. Then hitting enter on both the pc and the ps2 and next thing the file is on the SDCard.
Just tried a few commands via USB and everything worked fine.
Regards Bryan

EDIT :
Both DuinoMite and ColorMaximite work with
Minicom using either TinyCore or Slax Linux.
AND:
Both will write to the terminal screen.Edited by hitsware 2013-12-16
