Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Strange,
#recRaw refers to a debug file that only comes into play while doing XMODEM file transfers.
I should have disabled it fully on the release code.
I expect that there is something in your configuration files that MMEdit is not happy about.
You could try uninstalling MMEdit and then deleting the data folder.
It's location can be found from Help/About.
This will then allow a clean installation of MMEdit.
Before that, you could try replacing the file MMEdit.tkn in the program folder with the one in the attached ZIP file.
I have (hopefully) disabled the culprit fully.

I have been working on the all new version of MMedit and I am happy with the progress.
There are plenty of differences between the Windows and Linux versions for me to discover.

The one big section of code left to tackle is the VT terminal.

I have been happily using MMEdit2 version 0.9(pre-release alpha) that you put up here a while ago, just for the colour printing and it is fantastic. I still use the stable v3 for editing etc, though.

...but I digress from the topic of this thread...
