Just wanted to share my first try (and successful :) ) engraving. Today i did a test engraving our Bangkok MakerSpace logo on a piece of anodized aluminum. I first wanted to use my phone but my better judgement told me to use something else. So looking around i found my Salea logic analyzer and the result is pretty good, the size of the logo is 5x5cm: ![]() For me this opens up a way to make nice front plates and other stuff. The tiny thing was engraved by this: ![]() (It can cut bigger things too) Like a cardboard template: ![]() To trace it and paint it on the wall: ![]() Sorry if this was off topic, just got excited by getting it to work) Microblocks. Looks very good. ![]() What is the model of the engraver used? Also what kind of resolution does it claim? |

Hi WW, It is an imported chinese made one. I bought it locally as i like to have people available for repairs and spare parts. I paid a premium for that but i think it is worth. This is where i bought it. It claims 0.025mm resolution. I am still new to this so i will have to find a way to actually be able to measure that. Microblocks. Build with logic. |

Just out of interest, how long did the engraving take on the Logic Analyser? |
