Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

I'm attempting to get MMEdit2 working this morning on a Linux (Mint) box.

I'm seeing this error.

MMEdit2: error while loading shared libraries: libgnomeprint-2-2.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

My Googlefu isn't working this morning. Can someone assist?

Thanks
Jeff

I had a lot of problems with printing in Linux. I don't know enough about current Linux to know which dependencies are needed.
I think you need the developer version of libgnomeprint2.2

Eventually, I gave up trying to print directly from MMEdit2 and instead open the file in your current text editor. That should remove all calls for anything to do with printing.

This link might explain the problem

I am not sure when I will be releasing an update for MMEdit2.

I had something similar and yes installing something the -devel version fixed it.
