Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

This case gets more interesting by the post!

  Frank said  My adaptor looks like yours in your link and works without any problems.

Could it look the same, but have totally different guts perhaps? Edited by Grogster 2014-09-09

@Frank
Not using Maximite, I have UBW32 version of CMM and it works perfectly with two VGA monitors I have tested it on, and as I said my converter works perfectly when connected to the VGA out of my computer and to my 4.3" composite screen.

I know this is probably a silly question, Paul, but do you have the 120R resistors and 914 diodes to deck in your VGA circuit from the UBW32?

...I'm sure you do, but just to check...

Yes Grogster all is OK. If you get a UBW32 connected up one day check it with your converter if that works with the DSE converter I will get one off you.

This is INTENSELY interesting.

I have a main-board almost finished which is 200 x 150 and uses the UBW32 module, so I will see if I can hurry the completion of this, and get the boards done, so I can test this board with a converter.

With the 120R resistors and diodes to deck on the VGA colour lines - even on the UBW32, it should be working fine.

...I don't get why it is not, other then that SPECIFIC adaptor you have.

EDIT: I don't suppose you have(or can borrow) another type of VGA-TV adaptor?

No, you guys on The Back Shed are the only people I have contact with regarding Microprocessors. I would gladly buy another one but I want to know it will work first.
