Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

All,

Can someone please remind me how to change the keyboard 'language' within MMBasic?

I am sure I have done it before (to swap the @ and " characters around).

Just can't see any reference in the User Manual . . .

Thanks to any of you that can assist (it is 02:40 here in UK - perhaps I should go to bed!)

WW

The Maximite has CONFIG KEYBOARD US | UK | FR | GR | BE | IT | ES

I don't think the Micromite has the option to change keyboards.

with the MicroMite, it is the terminal (on the PC) that do the job...
TeraTerm, HyperTerminal...

Thanks Jim & Pierre - you are both correct.
I have a 'clear' head now that I got some sleep. I just happened to have a MaxiMite next to me when I posted the question about the MicroMite; and now I remember changing the language a few months back on the MaxiMite.

I am currently playing with a MicroMite Companion (from oldbitcollector). These look & feel like really nice units and it is for this that I ideally needed to change the keyboard layout. Oh well.

Can anyone provide a link to a PS2 small(ish) keyboard that knowingly works with the MaxiMite (or VT100)?
By the way, it needs to be a keyboard that is in stock (and ideally more than a quantity of 10).
And my preference is that the '@' symbol on the shift-2 key (but this is not critical)

Thanks
WW

@plasma.
Ok- excellent price, available in other colours (but can only order white!), bit big but can live with that for testing purposes.

Question. What does the 'down-arrow' key do (third key up from bottom left corner (above shift key))?
