Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

....Not sure what's in the box, but with the batteries at the top it's got a rather high CofG to look after. Very cool project though. Watch out SegWay |

Hi Plasma, your project is very impressive! I dream to do the same... I am very astonished that a PID timeconstant of 20 ms is enough. Can you tell me more about your PID algorithm and the nesting of your two control loops? Did you think a Maximite is fast enough to do the same? Thanks! Frank |

Hi , Source code and schematics will be free after we convertet this to "MMbasic" Devices. I think the Maximite will do this with some Firmware Addon Functions. And i fear the Micromite will be to slow , Also with the new Plugin from Geoff. Maybe 2 micromites will solve the delay from Sensor reading and pwm Servos. The Goal is buildt a bigger one which stand Up alone and find the charging station if the Akku power going down. Maybe the build a kit for , i dunno. All for fun |
