Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

How are you doing that?

All PWM's summed with 15kOhm ... COM1 added with 3.3kOhm

add: Data 2,4,3,4

Very clever use of PWM channels on uM - cool.

Be grateful for small mercies.

I seem to recall that the original uM only had one PWM output, or maybe two. Now it has five.

This is very cool!

I'll ask a stupid question (because I do it so well and I'm more software than hardware).

When you say, "All PWM's summed with 15kOhm ... COM1 added with 3.3kOhm ", I assume you mean that the PWM's are connected to one point through 15k resistors and then the TX from COM1 is connected to that same point with a 3k3 resistor. That one connection point then becomes "audio out"? Thus summing the signals together into one signal? The resistor are there to protect any of the pins when they go low since there's a good chance that when a pin is low, some other pin is high.

This is very clever and certainly is something to try at home!

Thanks for sharing!!

Precisely.
The values can be adjusted for mix as the 3k3
(COM1 is the percussion)

I wondered about the COM1 thing myself, so thanks for clarifying that. An ingenious use of a serial port! Excellent.

No filter. Maybe because it's recorded ?
Do you listen to both mine and yours through
