Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hallo. Smoke makes things work. When the smoke gets out, it stops! |

It could be easily done. The reason why I did not do it in the first place is that the VT100 did not have cursor off/on. Does anyone know of a standard escape code for this function used in terminal emulators (eg, Tera Term)? No, this one would be difficult. It would involve a major firmware change and then I would have to do French and all the other character sets. Thanks, I will fix it. Grogs, are you showing off your talents or did you use Google translate? Geoff Geoff Graham - http://geoffg.net |

I think DEC used a different (non-ESC) sequence for cursor on/off. DECTCEM I understand CSI is 0x9b and cursor off is thus (all hex): 9b 3f 32 35 6c with cursor on as (hex) 9b 3f 32 35 68 I have no love for the 9b! John |
