Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hi Geoff!

CURSOR OFF / ON

For a more detailed explanation of using:
I use a Displayset only for displaying text. In this case, the cursor is simply annoying. Therefore I would like the cursor off.

In VT52 mode, there are

ESC [e = SHOW CURSOR
ESC [f = HIDE CURSOR

Is it provided by you to incorporate these commands at the earliest opportunity?

With thanks

ESC [f is used in VT100 mode for 'cursor home'.

The only references I can find for hide/show cursor are VT52 mode
ESC e and ESC f
(That is without the '[' character.)

I will try and test them on a 'real' DEC terminal I have but it won't be today.

Jim

PS The reference was in some Atari documentation
