has anybody a usb keyboard with a usb to ps2 adapter running on mmbasic hardware ?

Yes that works. However you can only use a keyboard that has support for PS/2.
The adapter is not an electronic device that translates usb-ps/2, it just connects the wires to the right pins.
The keyboard! senses the type of connection and switches between protocols.

Hi Plasma,
not all USB Keyboards can work with this adapter. Many new keyboards shows only "vvvvvvvvv" on the screen.
I have a very fine GEMBIRD Mini USB KEYBOARD KB-207U-B-DE which shows a lot "vvv" on the screen and works after a little while very fine on my Maximite. The only drop of bitterness ist that this keyboard has no "<" and no ">" button!
