Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

In regards SETPIN.

I am migrating to a uMite 170 (from a 150) and have seen the Oout command is depreciated in 4.6. As l need to read and write to a particular I/O pin l have found that DOUT,OC seems to make a replacement command including no longer needing a external pull up resistor.

Does the OC option enable a pull up resistor or is something else going on? (The manual only talks about internal resistors for DIN)

Anthony.

Not meaning to make this a blog but I found the answer in the manual. Page 30. SETPIN PIN,DOUT,OC does use an internal pullup.

Cheers.

Most modern forum software is "Slang-aware", and will auto-detect all the common swear words and remove and/or censor them.

Probably not a good idea to use those words in the public forums though - Gizmo(administrator) might smack your hand....

EDIT: I know that even PM's won't allow you to swear, so it must be the forum software text filtering etc.

...not that I was swearing in a PM, or anything like that........ Edited by Grogster 2015-01-28
