Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

I have a Mono Maximite & I would like it to run a programme whenever the power is turned on.

I intend to use it to monitor the Pump Controller of my Solar Hot Water system. I want to work out how it works in case the PIC in it ever fails & I have to write a programme for a replacement PIC.

The point is that - it will be outside, so I don't want to have a Keyboard & Monitor out there to start the programme running every morning (I intend to do it for several days in order to cover a reasonable range of weather).

Any assistance will be appreciated.

This is from page 3 of the manual

On the Maximite MMBasic will look for a file on startup called “AUTORUN.BAS” in the root directory of the internal flash drive (A:) then the SD card (B:). If the file is found it will be automatically loaded and run, otherwise MMBasic will print a prompt (“>”) and wait for input. [/quote]

Thanks very much BobD, much appreciated.

I have only just returned to Maximite after about a 2 year absence.
I didn't think to check the manual.
