Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

In the 4.5 and 4.6 PDF Documents the SETPIN entry says:
Previous versions of MMBasic used numbers for 'cfg' and for backwards
compatibility they will still be recognised.
Where would I find out what those numbers are?

I have not managed to find any older documentation using Google and I need the numbers so that I can save the Config info in binary form.

Cheers
Chris

Take a look at CircuitGizmos eBook "Beginning Maximite". It has what you are looking for in it.

You can find it list on this page: http://circuitgizmos.com

Ok - took some time to find it (was on page 535). Extract as follows:

0 Not configured or inactive
1 Analog input (pins 1 to 10, A0 to A5)
2 Digital input (all pins and 5V tolerant on pins 11 to 20)
3 Frequency input (pins 11 to 14)
4 Period input (pins 11 to 14)
5 Counting input (pins 11 to 14)
6 Interrupt on low to high input change (pins 1 to 20, D0 to D8) for target
7 Interrupt on high to low input change (pins 1 to 20, D0 to D8) for target
8 Digital output (all pins)
9 Open collector digital output to 5V (pins 11 to 20, D0 to D13) In this mode the function PIN() will also return the output value.

Please can someone check this is valid for the MicroMite

Thanks a lot Guys, much appreciated.

I went with WhiteWizzard's table, look good to me. And thanks to the Book Pointer, looks like a good read, even if it is written for Maximite I am sure I will pick up a lot of info that is micromite reverent too.

Cheers
Chris

Near the bottom of the Maximite and Micromite web pages on my site there is a line which says something like "Older versions can be found in the archive." with a link taking you to the archive.

On the Maximite page the archive goes back to V2.2 which was the second publicly released version. Interestingly, the manual for this version (included in the zip file) was just 17 pages. The Micromite documentation for v4.7 will be well over 100 pages when finished.
