Hi,

are both controllers compatible (binary (sure), register) except the Pinout, so that the available 64 Pin Version can also run on the 100 PIN Pic?

I have a 100 Pin Controller but not the 64 PIN version...., untill Gogsters Board will arrive 😄

THX.

No, sorry i have not read the Datasheet , NRTFM ;-(((((

Geoff informed me that the 64pin version will NOT run on the 100pin MX470

But the good news is that he will be releasing a 100pin version in the future. More bad news though is that this won't be for a couple of months!

All good things come to those who wait . . . .

A quick view through the datsheet Shows me no reason why this should not work.
Except that Geoff has coded to deny 64 pin Version running on 100 and vice versa.

.....

OK,

waiting for Grogs Board ;-)

Grogs board will also be a couple of months away.

Basically, I am waiting till Geoff gets back for a couple of reasons:

1) He's back in the driver's seat then and
2) We will have had a little beta testing time with the 64 to iron out most of the issues.

I will be doing a 100-pin board though, if Geoff wants me to - it is his puppy, I just help take it for walkies.
