Forum-only special.

I have three UBW32 Bit-whacker modules gathering dust.

Normally US$39.95.

My price - ten bucks each.

Two are brand new and still sealed in the bags they came in, the third one has had the pin-strips fitted, and I seem to recall there is a copy of the Colour Maximite firmware programmed into it.Edited by Grogster 2015-10-31

OK, one gone, two left - one unused, and the one I programmed.
You get a sealed one - first in, first served.

Gday lucky winners of Grogsters ubw32 boards

I designed an add on board too turn these into colour maximites...

Dontronics.com was selling these pretty cheaply, if interested contact Don, or if he hasn't got any left I might have a couple left over.

Regards,

Mick

I believe the New Zeelanders are favourites. Sorry, I can't say the AB words.

Naturally, I will be going for the All Blacks(there - I said it for you ), but to be fair and honest, the Wallabies are also an extremely good team - you don't make it to the final if you are NOT a good team, so I think it will probably be reasonably close, if that means anything to anyone.

Wanting the All Blacks to win, sure, but it would not shock me if the Wallabies nabbed it - they won't be a push-over for the AB's in any event.

Ok Grogs,

I am in.. Unless the game us already over

I am at Victorian derby at Flemington racecourse at the moment so information is a bit lacking..

Internet comes and goes.

What do we gamble on it? Any of my boards against any of yours?

I have a ubw32 unused I can sell on your behalf, you get the money I send the board if the all blacks win..

What can you put up?

Mick

Lets do the board thing again.
WB's win - I send you some boards, AB's win, you send me some.
Either that, or something else that you can suggest.

....within reason!

Done!

You paid me very well last time, now it's time to either pay back the honour or boost my PCB wealth a bit more.

Mik

Now I don't feel so bad about us losing by 2 points last weekend
Well Done NZ.....

And well played Australian. You can take the same comfort as us South Africans, at least between the three of us we were guaranteed to keep the Trophy in the Southern Hemisphere.

Cheers

Thanks for the plug Mick, but sorry, I ran out of these boards maybe 12 months ago.

I do have some odd bits that may be of interest to Maximite users:

Well done Kiwis,

Well done Grogs,

Let me know what you would like, select several as you rewarded me well last time so fair is fair...

I also have a new board, not released yet, but tested OK ..

It is a bicolour 8x8 matrix board for 32mm square common cathode led matrix which I have been working on with Curtis the last month or so. It is a joint project so boards can be bought from me or Curtis, and as Curtis is in the USA those near there can get their boards quicker from him...

I still have a very busy week ahead of me and won't have a manual for a week or two.. Curtis has some already very good code that generates RED GREEN and YELLOW text on a moving message board style...

All done without CFunctions...

Anyway some are yours Grogs if they interest you as well as anything from my repertoire, see my link in my signature below and let me know what interests you.

Regards,

Mick

Hi John, All,

John

I do have one bare UBW32-MCC PCB (at least) that I have found, I will give you first dibs on it if you like. As you are in the UK postage is $3 so lets make it $7 inc postage... If you are not interested no worries I will entertain other offers.

I also have a fully built unit (without the UBW32 itself -- Which I do have but wont let it go as generously as Grogster has) and a small case, the lid isnt there but it is around somewhere, I would like about $20 for that but postage might be a killer to UK as it is about 30mm thick.. if interested PM me and we can get an accurate postage price.

The link where I released the UBW32-MCC is HERE

I have the manual if you can send me your email address I will email it to you as it is too large to post here.

about 2MB.

Regards,

Mick

Well, that was a game.

Australia DID win the cricket, so ying/yang - everything evens out!

I expected the Wallabies to get closer then they did though.
34-17 to me is quite astonishing, as I figured the Aussies would make it a much closer thing then that. I was expecting an AB win with, say, 5 to 10 points. Australia are a very strong team, and well matched against us, so....

I hear that some Australian media are saying the ref screwed the Wallabies over though.

However, C'est La Vie.....

I will check on your boards Mick, but the LED matrix one sounds interesting. I will let you know via this thread.

As to the boards I sent you for the Cricket, it cost no more to send a few in the same pack, so they were total freebies, and you don't need to feel as though you need to return the favour - you don't.
