Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hi,

I am currently away from any MM to give this a try so am hoping someone can confirm something for me.

If I am using the PWM 2B pin as a general I/O, and then issue a PWM 2,freq,duty command, does the PWM 2B remain in it's current state (i.e. if it were set as an output, and is currently ON, will it remain on?)

Likewise, when I say PWM 2,STOP, will the 2B pin still be unaffected?

The manual implies pin 2B will be 'left alone' but I really need confirmation. So if there is anyone that can confirm this, I would be most grateful.

And the reason for asking; I have run out of pins and need just one more so I am really hoping that I can indeed use the 2B pin. And just to scare you - I am using a 100pinner!!!! I do not want to have to use any other 'I/O expansion' chips just for one more pin!

Thanks for any responses . . . . .

WW

Yes, the 2B pin should be untouched so you can use it for general I/0.
