Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hello, I have seen some screenshoots in the description which are illustrations of using backpack.Where is a the code which generates this graphical objects? "An engine monitor with six gages. All gauges are updated in real time and respond smoothly to changes.Program created by Peter Mather (matherp) on The Back Shed forum." I can't found it... Which operating system runs in backpack, because it is not mentioned. drkl |

Hi Drkl, did you search this thread? You need the "normal" Micromite firmware (now 5.1) for the backpack... Frank |

There is nothing special about the code that created the images. They just used the basic drawing commands available in the 28-pin Micromite. The nautical speedometer was just a demo to create a pretty picture on the screen. Later I will fill it out to be a full program and release the code. The engine monitor was a slightly modified version of PeterM's demo program: 2016-01-23_080615_PeterMDemo.zip The menu example is from a "Garage Parking Assistant" which will be described in the March issue of Silicon Chip. It probably will not make sense without you reading the article but the code is attached anyway: 2016-01-23_080736_ParkingAssist.zip The Micromite in the Backpack is just running MMBasic V5.1 - nothing special.
