Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Does anyone want to help with the display for the LCD unit for the weather station?
With my lack of coding knowledge it's all going to end up as just simple words printed on the screen.
BUT
with peoples help it could be so much more, the power of the Micromite, along with the SDD1963 touchscreen and it could be a graphical beauty.

Anyone that is willing to help I'll be glad to send them a free pcb if they want to make the weather station themself.
Or you could help just because you like writing programs for the Micromite and showing how good it can be.

The actual getting the information from the sensors I can work out myself, its the graphical part I would be less than worthless at.

Below is an "idea" of what I'd like it to look like in my mind.
It's open to offers of how it should look, the graphical design is completely open to all ideas, even if it means it shows on several screens that it either scrolls through, or using the touchscreen to select.
For example the rain/wind speed could be shown on the screen but on a button press it could show the minimum/maximum rail level or windspeed for today, the week, month or even the year

I really want people to help with this please, like I said before all the circuits/gerbers/pcb layout and program will be made public on here once it's up and working properly.

This is my idea how I see it in my mind - only done with paint, I'm hopeless at drawing
Ideally I'd like it to have a background pic as well
and the clock would have to work - I have no idea how to make fancy hands for a clock or even make an analog clock other than the examples online.
The clock will be updated at regular intervals by gps on the outdoor unit which will correct for BST/DST and also have an rtc attached in case the gps module stops working for some reason, or it loses contact with the outdoor unit

I have the 7" touchscreen, ideally the graphics should be scalable for the the 5" and smaller ones as well if possible

The LCD unit is based on a Micromite+ and it will have a W25Q64 flash memory chip (64K) so should be plenty fast enough and also be able to store enough to do decent min/max graphics/length of time

I don't know if this is possible, but could you have a picture of a clock static on the display and the hands drawn by the Micromite+? ie the hands move but the background of that part of the display is a nice clock picture?

And the same kind of idea with wind speed, direction, pressure, temperature and so on?
