Using MMEdit. Great program. Have a couple of small probs. I wish to disable the automatic caps for keyword feature as I find it makes me sloppy about using the caps key. I go: Files > Preferences, uncheck the Caps for keywords box and then save preferences. However, that box automatically gets checked the next time, ie the preference is apparently not saved. Also, how do I make the printouts larger? The font size setting only affects the screen. I tried emailing the developer via the address given in the help menu, but this has just bounced. Senior?! Whatever it says, I'm a complete and utter beginner... |

In preferences, if you have "always start with these settings" set, the settings in preferences are used every time you start MMEdit. If not, MMEdit remembers the last used settings. You can change the current settings from the "view' menu. There are no options to change the font size for printing. YOu could copy the program into another text editor and change it there. I am not sure why the email to me bounced, it hasn't changed at this end. It might have been a temporary problem with my hosting service or your ISP. Jim VK7JH MMedit |
