i have a GCM microboard2b 64 pin.
i used the OPTION LCDPANEL ILI9341, Landscape, D/C pin, reset pin [,CS pin] but as i am very new to this i put in the incorrect pin numbers.
what i am asking is does anyone know the correct pin numbers to make the touch screen work. also whilst trying to get it to work i put in incorrect pin numbers for the touch screen. OPTION TOUCH T_CS pin, T_IRQ pin

additionally, when i try to change the pin numbers i can key them in using option etc, and it says restart the micromite, but when i restart the same numbers show up on the option list. i can't change the pin numbers i put in originally.

the pin numbers i think may be correct are for the LCDPANEL 21, 22 and for the
touch 2, 14
when i tried to change the touch numbers it says pin 14 is used on startup.
i have tried to reset using a 10k on 3.3v and the reset pin it resets and the driver loads but i still can't change the pin numbers.

OPTION RESET will reset all options (ie, remove them). Then you could start again, hopefully with better luck.

OPTION LCDPANEL DISABLE
OPTION TOUCH DISABLE

should clear things but it sounds like you have an old version of the firmware - what version does it report on boot?

Just execute the normal OPTION commands again.

You are out-of-date with the firmware. Geoff is just about to release V5.2 so If you have access to any sort of programmer you should update. This can also be done with just another Micromite if you have a second one

See this thread for details

you can also use an arduino (any that uses a 328p processor) and a few resistors as a PIC32 programmer if you have one laying around.

cheers,
rob :-)Edited by robert.rozee 2016-06-13

Bermo,

You should also check the documentation from the supplier on the ILI display - a number available on eBay do not have the touch functionality enabled even though the chip appears to be in place and the jumpers to power it are made.
