Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Just upgraded the software that monitors my weather station.

Really impressed with the new gauges it uses.

Basically the software just runs as an engine;
Downloads the data from the weather station;
then uploads files to my webserver.

Looking at the gauges, it's all Java Script, which I'm not familiar with, but I can interpret some of it & wonder if similar stuff can be done in MMbasic.

This is the weather data here:-

The gauges are called "Steel Series" & are on Github here.

Cheers

I run Cumulus here too (running on a Pi).

I really like the charts and would like to use them for my own data but HTML in any form is not my forte.

For the gauges, if you can emulate the realtime.txt file, you should be able to adapt it relatively easily.

Where's that Jim?

The Java is pretty well commented, someone here will understand it.

Phil.

I don't have it publicly available at the moment.
When I am away from home, it's easy enough to log in to my network with a VPN then access the PI as I do when home.

If I allow public access to the data, they will also have access to the configuration. I might get around to uploading to my website again (one day).

With respect gentlemen!!

Digital stuff with analogue guages???
Must be why I still use my AVO 8 multimeter, and a HP 410B VTVM.
I have a digital CRO (philips/fluke) with the typical hash from the switchmode power supply on screen.

It also looks like ozispeedtest for the NoBloodyNetwork. AKA NBN

Visual feedback sure beats numeric data that take more than a casual glance to read.

I think it looks totally amazing, I just wish it was possible for to make similar gauge outlines in MMBasic

Analogue guages look way nicer than digital, but these show both
Amazing
