Has anyone had the problem where the display on the SDD1963 has suddenly gone pure white and nothing else is showing?
Anyone know how to fix it?
I've been running a test program on it for a few weeks now and overnight it came up with a pure white screen
If I press control C I get the Micromite prompt ON THE COMPUTER, if I pull the power and plug it back in, and if I press the reset button I get the Micromite welcome screen ON THE COMPUTER, but when I type run I get nothing
The white screen never changes

Probably a loose/broken connection on one of the data pins. I happen to have just seen the same thing when I was patch wiring a display and got D0 and D1 connected to the wrong pins

The MMboard is connected solidly and hasn't moved in weeks, it just happened overnight
I did check all connections and they all seem ok
The one thing that mmight have "helped" cause it - is the double sided tape holding the display to the SDD circuit board failed during the week and the display "flopped" forward
I taped it back on with new tape and it was working fine, but im wondering if it might have damaged the ribbon
Guess there's no way to test that

Just checked reloading the program and there's no problems there, I guess a new display is next on the shopping list

EDIT just noticed heading is wrong, its an SSD1963Edited by lew247 2016-10-09
