Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

MikroBus is a hardware standard for small module boards, you dont need specific code for them.
If you write some code for a particular device that does Text to speach, that code should work on that device regardless of whether its on a MikroBus board or any of the other ways of connecting the device up. $50SAT is Silent but probably still working. I have been working on an Arduino DUE powered device, mainly as a more powerful and capable receiver for my various LoRa adventures.
Rather than produce different PCB designs to provide for the range of different LoRa modules, GPSs, WiFi adapters and the like that you might want to use, the design includes MikroBus PCB sockets.
Doing the design this way allows for the base shield to used for various purposes, just fit different MikroBus modules. Initially I have designed MikroBus boards for both types of Dorji DRF1278F module, the Hope RFM98, GlobalTop PA6B and GlobalTop PA6H GPSs. $50SAT is Silent but probably still working.
