Here is the final schematic based on the update pinout which equalises Peter's MZ port with mine so now we have a single pinout which is to the largest possible extent pin-compatible with Geoff's original MX470 version. 2016-11-17_172127_MZEF64.pdf I have these in manufacturing now. Since I have been asked, currently have a few MZEF64 boards from the first revision (in the picture below) which are the same but without the MikroBus connectors. If anyone wants one, let me know. The new ones will be available by mid December. http://rittle.org -------------- |

I think I may have said this before, but I am really impressed with your extremely crafty placement of the USB socket - nice thinking, dude! Smoke makes things work. When the smoke gets out, it stops! |

Thanks! The assembled boards are all gone now. I discovered that I have a few blank PCBs from the first batch, £1 a piece. If someone wants one, leave me a message. These blank PCBs are the older revision and require a small wire patch as shown in the picture. Please everyone who has one note this. http://rittle.org -------------- |

Thanks to kiiid, I now have a wirelessly connected MicroMite Extreme (Kon, it arrived half hour ago - thanks for the quick turn-around). I can confirm these are a true work of art now that I have my grubby little hands physically on one. A FANTASTIC DESIGN KON Sorry, but I did load PeterM's latest firmware on it in a rush to set things up Is there a definitive list of differences between your port and Geoffs/Peters that can be supplied? Thanks again . . . . For everything Micromite visit micromite.org Direct Email: whitewizzard@micromite.o |

Hi Kon, your new board is very interesting! How much is your final version? Can I buy it from your website? It would be very nice for me for some astronomical calculations... Greetings Frank |

I think the site is missing from the forum's Parts Suppliers section :( Good questions, BTW. John |

Great, but I guess people at least may wonder: When are they available? What price? Where from? When will the supplier(s) be in the list on this site? John |

@kiiid, How 'good' is the Text-to-Speech Click? Also, what chip is it using? Thanks for any info . . . . WW For everything Micromite visit micromite.org Direct Email: whitewizzard@micromite.o |

John, I will have that information soon. Availability - from me, I guess (unless someone else wants to distribute as well). WW, Just starting with the TTS so no idea yet. It uses Epson's S1V30120 engine. Here is the board schematic. 2016-12-28_174404_MZEF64.zip http://rittle.org -------------- |

The MZEF64 board has been working very well and I decided to release in GitHub The project files can be used with the freeware Altium CircuitMaker. The schematic is fully compatible with Micromite MZ. I have 5 of these and that is enough for my development needs so have no plans from my side to manufacture it for the market due to other priorities, but whoever wants to make it themselves is welcome. I think I have a few blank PCBs (subject to extra check) that I am willing to give away. http://rittle.org -------------- |
