Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hi

I have a 100 pin Micromite eXtreme firmware V5.3.12, which is an amazing piece of firmware

I have an ESP8266 attached, and running a very basic program to display data from a BME280 sensor. The code works perfectly on COM1, COM2 and COM3. When using COM4, the program seems to stop after receiving some characters but fails to get the full amount of data present on com4.

I obviously have the console off so COM 4 is available for the program. Is there any differences between the serial ports?

Cheers

I've found one tiny difference in the way com4 is treated from the rest. I've updated the firmware on this thread

Please load the latest version (I haven't changed the version number from 5.3.13) and let me know if this solves itEdited by matherp 2017-03-12

matherp,

The revised firmware fixed the problem completely for me. My code now runs correctly regardless of the com port selected.

Thanks Again
