Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

A little help please,
1. Micromite plus Sound Output.
Plus manual page 23 shows Left channel PWM2A, Right channel PWM2B.
Pinouts Explore 64 manual page 7 PWM2A pin53, PWM2B pin32.
CHANGE LOG for V5.03.01 New Features quote" On the 64 pin Micromite plus moved PWM2A from pin 47 to pin 32" (typo there somewhere?)
Pin 32 is listed as PWM2B
Please clarify.
2. Using an SSD1963 LCD panel with Explore 64 and MMBasic 5.03- I intend to use the 1963-PWM jumper instead of LED-A for backlight control.
I am assuming the command would be OPTION LCDPANEL ssd1963_7,L, ,59 leaving a blank space instead of the LED-A pin no. Is this correct?
3. Can an SD card socket be implemented on a 28 pin Micromite MkII using MMBasic V5.03. I have adequate pin out capacity to be physically able to utilise the three SPI pins along with the user configurable pins.
I look forward to answers.

Yes, there is a typo in the change log. It should read:
On the 64-pin Micromite Plus moved the PWM2B output from pin 47 to pin 32.
Thanks for pointing it out.

Yes, just leave out the pin number for LED-A if you are using the SSD1963 PWM control.

The 28 and 44-pin chips do not have enough flash to implement the full FAT filesystem so proper SD card support is not possible. HOWEVER matherp on this forum has written a CFunction which provides limited SD card support. His code has been posted somewhere on this forum - but I'm not sure where...

Thank you both Geoffg and Matherp.

The first two were easy, 72YO grey matter will take a bit of time to digest answer no. 3!!! I'm only just coming back to hobby electronics after a 25-30 year break and Micromite seems the obvious way back in. I'm still in the dark ages of Z80 machine language!
