Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

If ever you thought you had seen messy wiring, check out this video: MESSY WIRING Crikey..... I don't envy any service techs over there, who have to do ANY fault-finding. Smoke makes things work. When the smoke gets out, it stops! |

Very similar here in Thailand. The power lines are still organized though. They are the ones on the top. Often three sometimes four. All the other cable mess is from telephone/internet connections and cable tv. As there are many companies who offer those services each has their own cable. There is no cable sharing. It sounds bad but with for instance ADSL that can actually work in your favor as cable sharing is often not used, giving you the full capacity of the cable. It does look ugly and i estimate that more then 50% is just hanging there without being used as it is to hard to find an unused cable (from your own company) that can be reused. Instead a new cable is used. Oh well, it keeps people having jobs and cable manufacturers sales. :) Microblocks. Build with logic. |
