Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hi folks.

QUESTION: When you CLOSE a com port, exactly what state does the MM leave the pin in?

Can I assume inactive high-impedance?

Back to "NUL" not defined... So it's like you never assigned it...

So, for the TX out pin you would need a pull-up resistor if you are going to release the pin by closing the port... (or assign it a DOUT HI state) Edited by Zonker 2017-07-05
