Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

I'm new to the Cad/milling of PCB's and was wondering if anyone has successfully milled a pcb to take SOIC IC's. If so, can you recommend a milling machine or CNC router capable of milling/routing a decent looking PCB.
I reckon NZ$300 to 400 is a price I would consider.
Also would software like Kicad be able to create the files necessary to easily upload into the router.
