Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hi
I'm trying to create a 3 foot 6 blade prop for pence, or cents? (my 3rd world idea)
Any ideas how to 'nest', tesselate 3 props together would be appreciated.
Please see my web page for full description.

http://gotwind.org/Soil_Prop.htm

This could be of considerable use to 3rd world countries.

I think you would need to make some sort of hub. A timber disk about 200mm in diameter, with each blade bolted to the hub with three 1/4 bolts.

Nesting the PVC pipe could be done but you would end up with a weak hub, remembering the blade roots cop the most strain.
