Hi,
I see the excellent instructable on how to disassemble the F&P motor, but the next step is missing - how to get the aluminium bearing block out of the plastic of the tub bowl.  I am sure that I am not the only one who has needed to do this, so am looking for suggestions on the best way to do this.  The aluminium extrusion which the bearings sit in is ideal for use to mount the motor, but the plastic is very well attached to it.  Any suggestions?  A pointer to somewhere else on the forum?
Thanks.
Ross.

Looking at the pics in this post the tub is moulded on to the bearing tube.
The only way I can see to remove it is cut away the plastic.
