Okay, not particular to F&P but that's what I am targetting for my first serious power generator.

My question is: Is there a formula to define the minimum, optimum, and maximum blade lengths for a given motor in a given wind? I know the formula for figuring out potential power of a wind swept area but I haven't been able to find anything that says for a given HP rating or V/A/W capacity here is how large of a wind-swept area to get X volts/watts out.

I'm hoping there's something relatively simple. I'm pretty good at algebra but calc and tric are right out.

Thanks,
