Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hi tomasp
Looks good inside, mine was all rusty like it was assembled under water, on the input shaft housing drill a hole from inside at an angle downwards to drain any water out, and if you want a seal get a piece of leather 2.5 inches round and lay a bead of glue around the outside of it, contact cement works well then punch a hole for the shaft to go through, a bit smaller than the shaft, grease the hole and a bit more on the shaft and glue to the front housing, you will have to replace this seal when you service in 12 months or so but it will help keep water and dust out.
It may be a good Idea to drill a small drain hole in the bottom of the housing to equalize pressure in the housing so it doesn't try to suck water in when it cools, if the wire gland isn't a good seal, that will do, mine has a molded rubber gland with the wires to seal up with a compression fitting.
All the best
