found a great product to stop leading edge erosion its from 3m some sort of polyurethane tape self adhesive about 50mm wide used on cars as paint protection from stones i think i got it from a local auto stuff shop. ![]() |

How does it go with the fold over the leading edge. I did have aluminium tape on some blades, but after a few months it started to lift. Glenn The best time to plant a tree was twenty years ago, the second best time is right now. JAQ |

It very good at following any shape even sharp curves on the leading edge the, only thing to watch for is air bubbles forming but they can be pushed out OK.I will try and find the 3M part No, I call it helicopter tape I think that it is used on the LE of their rotors. |
