easiest way is as described on the site but its messy.

In short drain the acid into suitable containers
Cut off the tops of the battery with a hack saw use caution not to cut into the plates, wash them clean them and re-assemble. If sulfation was the problem then this is the solution.
my tip is to know exactly how old they are prior to home recycling as you may end up with poor batteries and lots of hard smelly toxic dangerous work. and all for a couple of hundred bucks you could have had new ones.

Hi,

you have 6 nom 12V batteries, and they have 2, 4, 6, 7, 8 & 10V terminal voltages. I doubt that these batteries will be easy to restore any useful capacity. These have 6 cells per battery, with electrical connections probably within the internals of the battery. It will be difficult to take them apart without damaging the internal connections to the plates.

Best of luck, but these seem to be past their use by date.

Gordon.

I have not had luck using epsom salt in heated water. I bought a Batteryminder Plus from Northern Tool ($50) and have brought 3 batteries back to life, one was a sealed lead acid. I did find it won't help a battery with a shorted cell.
