I have ever heard PVC pipe can be used as wind turbine blades. Is there anybody who had already done it? and what is the disadventage of it? thank you
If you are intent to reduce your power bills, why not pay wind power cost?

Just go to Youtube and do a search and you will see DIY turbines with PVC pipe blades.

I had a read of your "Wind power costs" and you quote-- ancient people use wind to tow boats and pump water.--- Which world are you from? many people use sail boats and yachts.
My second job i had was repairing water windmills and i didnt think i was ancient.
Your watts to wind speed also look a little low as a 100 watts from a 4 metre mill in 10 mph wind is what i would think hardly worth building.
I hope you do not intend to use material from this site if you intend to sell this information.
Like the wind the information here is free to all, and is not to be stolen and on sold.

Otherwise not a bad read of your lens.

Pete.
Sometimes it just works

I liked this table
This table tells you how much power you can expect from a wind machine, make you know about it further.

instant output in watts

Tips: Wind turbines are usually designed to work best in the range 3 - 12m/s.
Please pay attention to Wind Turbine Power Ratings, A good formula for building homemade wind power in evaluating different wind turbines is:

Annual Output (KWH/year) = 0.01328 (d^2) (v^3)

Based on this my new dual stator mill from Phill should make 5KW/hr /day

with an abundant supply of stators I can optimise for the season, windy months, go for broke with two 100S stators in delta going for 1.2KW,in the middle the 80S 7x2C star and the 100S in delta
in the lighter times the 80S 7x2c one in star and one in delta for 750W.

cap doublers and all the other fancy kit should be a top performer, inspirational
Luck favours the well prepared
