Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Welcome to the 4m.

I've been here a while and you and I are each in the same boat. I too am building an alternator from scratch and I'm basically clueless; flying by the seat of my pants, I am!

I'll be watching the answers to your questions in hopes I can glean some wisdom. so ask lots of questions. This forum is well endowed with lots of F&P "experts".

I'm not building an F&P. I'm using my own design and starting with magnets, plastic and metal, designing and building everything from scratch.Edited by MacGyver 2010-02-24

Thanks for the reply.
I am trying to build the device that can generate Electricity. I have many designs made into FEMM but the
Data into Magnetic Output are not that I understand.
That's where, I need help to understand.
