I have two old 3 phase auger motors. I was wondering if anyone knew if i could use these in a windmill situation and if anyone knew about the wiring required to do so. Not planning to use it for anything in particular yet but a water pump windmill from tank to tank would be an idea.
Appreciate any help =)

Why not just build a water pumping windmill rather than a windturbine.
A heck of a lot less to go wrong.

Pete.
Sometimes it just works

Fair enough i suppose. But is there a use for my two old motors? It seems such a waste not to try re-use them somehow and i know nothing about making turbines or even windmills for that matter hence i joined the site =P
